Amanda is a past lead organizer of WordCamp Boston, WordCamp Phoenix and CMSExpo (WP track), a speaker at WordCamps Boston, Phoenix, NYC, Savannah, Portland, New Zealand and Chicago, and has spoken at WordPress meetups in Boston, Providence, Cape Cod, Portland, Phoenix and San Francisco.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m a longtime champion of WordPress and talk mostly about information architecture, UX, the administration of WordPress and how to keep clients from f\u2019ing up the sites you make them.<\/p>\n

Brandon has been developing custom WordPress themes and plugins for his clients at Pixel Jar since 2006. In the last year, he became a WordPress core contributor (#18516<\/a>) and released a premium plugin called AdSanity<\/a> that allows users to manage and track banner ads on their WordPress powered site. Brandon is also a co-organizer for WordCamp Orange County and is an active contributor to the WordPress Orange County group. In an effort to provide some levity to a non-trivial task, Brandon maintains a controversial list of reasons to NOT upgrade WordPress<\/a> (it\u2019s worth noting that the list is entirely made up of user-submitted reasons).<\/p>\n

Jon found WordPress in early 2006 when he started a travel blog to document his journey leaving the corporate world and his subsequent world travels. He quickly realized however that he was far more passionate about writing code than blog posts and drawing on 25 years of computer experience he started teaching himself PHP and WordPress. His learning was further fueled by amazing support from the Southern California WP community and he quickly opened shop as a full time developer. Recently, Jon joined 9Seeds and moved to Maui.
