But actually, the first question should really be: what is a WordPress Framework? <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wpbeginner.com\" title=\"http:\/\/www.wpbeginner.com\" target=\"_blank\">wpbeginner.com<\/a> defines it as:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n&#8220;WordPress theme frameworks are intended to be used as a parent theme template where all the functionality resides. Developers can then create a child theme to add custom styling while leaving the functionality aspects of it to the framework. This allows for a centralized location where all the functions are hosted.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wpbeginner.com\/beginners-guide\/what-is-a-theme-framework\" title=\"http:\/\/www.wpbeginner.com\/beginners-guide\/what-is-a-theme-framework\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.wpbeginner.com\/beginners-guide\/what-is-a-theme-framework<\/a>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>So how do you decide if you need a Framework or not? Actually, Justin doesn\u2019t think you need one.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s how Justin describes it:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Frameworks are great. Using them can be immensely beneficial.
